"It's not where you take things from, it's where you take them to." Jean-Luc Godard

And I'm taking my things to Paris, y'all.

Said "Au revoir" to Blois and our dear friend, Yoann today.  Thanks for all of your help lugging my overweight bags haha.  Next stop, Paris!

"Non, je ne regrette rien." Edith Piaf

I have not taken a picture in quite some time.  This is because the only thing to take a picture of is my luggage and clothing splayed about, looking like a hot French mess over here.  And then there's me.  Crying everywhere.  (No, not real crying, you know I can't actually create tears.)

Anyway.  This little chanson pretty much captures my sentiments about leaving.  "I regret nothing."

Enjoy this video/song while I go cry again.

Italian Adventure: Veronese/Milanese Style Day 9

Last day in Italy, wah wah!

Mailed off our letters to Juliet (and since I'm writing this in June, you'll be happy to know that she wrote me back!!)

Because I'm cool like that.

Cute or creepy?  No matter, I like it.

It'sa Mario!

Italian Adventure: Florentine Style Day 8

It feels like I've been in Italy for a year, and gaining lbs like it is my job.

I don't hate it.

Our last day in Florence and I am on a mission for leather.

And I was successful.  Yippee!

Then we made the journey from Firenze to Verona.  Simple and beautiful.

Matching yellow ensembles, bah ouias.

Grafitti outside of Casa di Giulietta.

On Juliet's balcony.

Italian Adventure: Florentine Style Day 7

A day of ridiculous things.

What kinds of ridiculous things?
Pisa.  This was a dream come true for me!!

David.  Okay, you guys.  I am obsessed with Michelangelo's David sculpture. You can't take pictures of it, but if you ever get the opportunity to see it, go.  it will change your life.

Ponte Vecchio.

View from the Uffizi at night.

Dinner.  Bruschetta and Gnocchi with truffle cream sauce.

Notte Bianca.  You guys, Florence on April 30th has something called “Notte Bianca.”  Loads of things are open all night and every Piazza is transformed into some type of performance.  This was one of the most ridiculously cool things I’ve ever done.
