"Recipe: A series of step-by-step instructions for preparing ingredients you forgot to buy, in utensils you don't own, to make a dish the dog wouldn't eat." Author Unknown

Non, je blague!  Dearest Amy sent me a picture of (what looked like) a delicious egg scramble.  I love a good egg dish and followed suit.

Voila.

If you have any fabulous recipes you love, s'il vous plait send them my way!

Strange Day

It was quite the expedition getting home from Paris today.  One missed train, a too early switch and five hours later, I made it home.  Hahah got to love it.

Finished off my long day with a celebration for Betsy's birthday.  Nothing says "Happy Birthday" quite like a fire-breathing man.

Hey Boo Boo

Ashley, a friend from my high school days is visiting me in France with her sister, Haley.  We romped in Montmartre today.  Here are some of my favorite shots:

Diner

Pronounced DEE-NAY.

Diner, in French, is the verb to dine.  When speaking my favorite language, Franglais, I always throw in a "Are you ready to diner?" whenever possible.
Shrimp, mushroom, broccoli spaghetti with a light alfredo sauce.

"We must travel in the direction of our fear." John Berryman

Eleven weeks remain until my return to les etats-unis.  To say that "time has flown by" would be a gross understatement.  I remember when I had 11 weeks until I moved here...not quite certain what I was doing and how it would all turn out.  That's the great part though.  The unknown and discovery of it all.

P.S.  This looks like quite the fear destroying vehicle, don't you think?

Samedi

Saturday.  Today, I did NOTHING but finish the final book of the Hunger Game series, Mockingjay.  And buy cheese at the market, of course.

Like I always say, you need a vacation after your vacation, and I am taking mine.

Hope you're all having a fantabulous weekend!
