For one thing, I rented a bike and navigated about the city like a real Dane. This was supposed to be my bike.
But since all the Danes are, well, giants, I was too short for every bike in the bike shop. So we had to drop Olivia's bike to the lowest position and luckily that worked. So Olivia got this lady cruiser for the week!
We biked to the Church of our Saviour and climbed to the very tippy top of this famous spiral church. It was so windy!!
Here we are at the top!
This is unreal.
My beautiful friend and oh so gracious host, Olivia.
Then we biked over to Christiania for lunch!
Christiania is ridiculous. The word, "cool" does not even capture the essence of this place. I told my mom, "If all else fails in life, I'm moving here and becoming a hobo." And I am serious. Talk about free.
Our little vegetarian lunch hideaway!
I wish, I WISH you could taste the flavors going on here. Literally one of the best things I've ever eaten.
Built in park bench.
Spotted these two youngins playing Backgammon on a log in the water. How cool?!
When you think of Copenhagen, this is what you think of.
And it's just as beautiful as you imagine.
Tivoli at night for the Medina concert. One, check out the bikes everywhere. Two, who is Medina? Only the Pop Princess of Denmark.
Kelli and I at the Medina concert!
